Team G2iX, composed of CEO Winston Damarillo, Jerome Gotangco, Macel Legaspi, Deng Ching, and Aaron Tinio, arrived today in bustling Davao City to partake in various IT events, as part of Davao Innovation Month.

First stop of the day was SaaS e.Camp at SM Davao. "Saas e.Camp highlights a competition where the winning team will receive up to 2 years operating capital from an "angel investor" from Silicon Valley, California - business plans not required."

A bit after lunch, I headed to Holy Cross Davao with Jerome for his talk about Cloud Computing. The Philippine Society for Information Technology Education (I hope I got that right) or PSITE for short has been organizing the Mindanao Conference for IT Education (MCITE) and Mindanao Conference for IT Students for a couple of years now. It's G2iX's debut participation and Jerome is first speaker.

Right now, DevCon Mindanao is happening at SM Davao. We've over 200 people here. 2 lightning talks had just finished; and Deng is up next.
