First, let me give recognition to Dilbert.com for inspiring me to come up with a post. It's been a long time :)
They say that to be a great leader, one has to lead by example. Show the way, don't just say it. Demonstrate and deliver, never dictate.
In any corporate culture, leadership is a critical skill that either makes or breaks the organization. Lack of and poor leadership brings out inefficiencies and creates mistrust. It evokes mediocrity, and oftentimes a state of anarchy. I've heard some resentments from the tyrannies in the call center offices and I don't like it one bit. I can't even begin to imagine how it's like to work in such an environment.
YOU?
I wouldn't think so.
I've always enjoyed working in an environment that's "adaptable and innovative" -- where people have "the freedom to challenge precedent, to “waste” time, to go outside of channels, to experiment, to take risks and to follow their passions". Also, I'm especially grateful and lucky to be working with exceptional mentors and very talented, creative colleagues here at G2iX.
BUT how about you? Still feel like ASOK? (You don't want to be in his place.)
Why not visit us at Y4iT UP Bahay ng Alumni, UP Diliman next week and learn how you can be part of our team? MAP and directions here.
PS. Stay tuned for news about our participation at Y4iT.
