Cloud Computing: Between Economy-driven and Paranoia-stricken

Public clouds could take decades to mature, so says Gartner.

 

Those are wise words, carefully chosen, indeed.  Contrary to the initial emotion that the title evokes, this is no doomsday statement.  Fact is, going deeper through the article, one gets still gets a sense of the inevitable.  The difference is that this time, cloud adoption goes through private clouds first. At least till the next PR. When they said decade, it might probably mean just a year in Internet time.
