2009: The year for innovation

2009 is truly the year for innovation. Collaborative innovation with smart, no hassle spending. While last year's U.S. quarter financial fiasco was playing out on the other side of the Atlantic - Europe was not immune. I happened to be meeting with a few people at A.K.A. Bank the Tuesday following Monday's (Sept. 15, 2008) Lehman Brother's crash and the Treasurer popped in to say he couldn't stay. The CEO called him late at night to come to work early the next morning and make sure everything was "okay". Things were "okay", but ....

During the course of the next two weeks, A.K.A. Bank had to put in a great deal of effort to convince the other German Banks to continue lending money to their Export Clients. It was clearly a trust issue with all involved. If falling down was inevitable then at least everyone didn't want to be prematurely pulled down by some other entity other than their own failures.

Even months earlier at another meeting with a Lufthansa IT head, complaints were already in the air about what to do with the pending renewing contract with an Indian Software Outsourcing company. Herr H. was considering not renewing the contract for these three reasons told to me:

1. "... starting to become too costly."

2. "...deadlines weren't being met."

3. "...language barrier." (i.e. thick accent)

The same tune was being heard everywhere. Avaya Germany and Sal. Oppenheim had announced to their employees in December of 2008 that layoffs would be seen in the first quarter of 2009. This was the state of the current European environment in the last quarter of 2008. Will 2009 be any different?

I think not.

While the Global economy undergoes it's cyclic cleansing, business as usual will still continue, per se. The difference is, there will be nothing usual this year, if a business wants to survive. Clearly, it's time for a change in best practices at all levels. Obviously, the best practices of the last decade had not held true.

Things cannot get any better than this. By things, I mean the global economic cleansing and the need for re-defining best practices. When things are down, I see it as a great opportunity to rise above.

G2iX entering Europe as a World Wide Innovation Partner, drawing from the expertise developed within Exist Global and Morph Labs is the perfect package solution. With the combined knowledge, skills and services that these companies bring together, G2iX can seamlessly support a project's early concept, midway development course or the last leg of its final stages.

2009 marks G2iX's (Exist Global, Morph Labs) entrance into Europe. Being aware and confident of the strong capabilities of G2iX makes entering the European market so much more easier. Apart from the potential language barrier and various cultures that make up the EU, these do not pose as apparent challenges into creating a solid and trusting partnership with potential prospects. Why? Simple. We have an amazing team with instinctual qualities.

Ingrained in perhaps the genetic code of the Filipino people is the "commitment to outstanding service". You just need to visit the Philippines once, to understand this.

"Commitment to outstanding service" is one key element that every potential partner looks for and hopes to receiver. G2iX can deliver.

Apart from "commitment to outstanding service" is the Filipino's Platinum Rule: Do unto others what they want done to them. No longer do we follow the Golden rule in business dealings but have taken it up a notch, the Platinum level, to ensure and provide that we do exactly what the client expects. How do we accomplish this? Simple. We ask.

We identify at the very beginning what our clients expectations are. We let them know in the beginning what we can do, what we cannot do and what we will try to achieve, together with their help. We are their Innovation Partner every step of the way. Apart from a team that possesses the above qualities both as individuals and as a collective, G2iX has an unbeatable set of software and platform packages to offer. Packages that addresses many of the questions and concerns that individuals and companies think about, as they proceed during these vulnerable economic times.

There is not one particular feature or set of features that I can point out right now, that I feel would be beneficial for the European target market that we'll be focusing on. Why? Because we have it all. For whatever type of project big or small, for whatever stage a client's project is at, for what ever level of complexity or simplicity, in whatever platform - G2iX will deliver.

The team's combined industry experience and expertise will identify the right pathway. Through the seamless integration and customization of the right tools, we will deliver the perfect solution within the best time and budget.

We intend to seek out and identify any individual or company big and small in Europe that would benefit from having G2iX as an Innovation Partner. We believe all will need an Innovation Partner, we just have to introduce ourselves.
